Chemical analyses - An important tool in wastwater treatment

A necessity for advanced wastewater treatment
Whether you are monitoring laboratory tests, pilot tests or a full-scale plant there is a need for chemical analyses. With these methods it is possible to monitor the results of the ongoing biological processes in your municipal wastewater treatment plant or industrial wastewater treatment plant. They are of course also used in our research. In order to evaluate a new design of a MBBR™ biofilm carrier we investigate the nitrification, the denitrification, COD and BOD reduction by making many chemical analyses.
Accredited methods
The possibility to conduct chemical analyses is an requirement if you are working with biological treatment of wastewater. We have a large number of analytical instruments for the most important parameters in the area and they are used for both internal and external commissions.
AnoxKaldnes is accredited for the following water quality analyses:
- BOD5, BOD7, BOD28
- COD, TOC, NVOC (NPOC)
- Ammonium, Nitrite, Nitrate, Total nitrogen (incl.Devarda's), Kjeldahl nitrogen
- Phosphate, Total phosphorus
- pH, SS, TS, GR
- AOX
Specialized analyses
In addition, a comprehensive set of other chemical analytical services can be offered. These additional services are possible because AnoxKaldnes collaborates with other accredited laboratories that perform various other specialized water quality and environmental analyses.
