  AnoxKaldnes is participating together with 16 other partners in a research project supported by the European Commision under the thematic priority "Global change and ecosystem" of the sixth framework programme. One of the main objective is to investigate and enhance the performances of promising industrial wastewater treatment options such as aerobic granulation, advanced oxidation processes combined with biological treatments, membrane contactors and membrane chemical reactors.

• EDTA-project at Nordic Paper
  A demonstration project that shows how the discharge of EDTA in the effluent can be decreased by optimizing the use of EDTA in the process and installation of a AnoxKaldnes biological treatment process for reducing EDTA.

• OdourControl
  AnoxKaldnes participates in a EU project, OdourControl, together with 12 other partners. The aim of the project is to develop an integral system based on biotechnical, chemical, physical and process techniques to tackle odourous problems in the paper industry.
